Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today appointed 172 dental surgeons in the rank of Group A (junior) of the Odisha Medical and Health Services (Dental) cadre under Health and Family Welfare Department to provide better dental care services at various state-run hospitals.
Out of total 172 Dental Surgeons, 106 are female and 66 are male dental surgeons. They were asked to join duty within 30 days of issue of the notification from today
The dental surgeons were appointed following the recommendation of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
The surgeons have been appointed at the scale of pay of Rs 56100 (as per 7th Pay Commission) and other allowances as admissible and sanctioned by Government from time to time. They have been asked to join within 30 days from the date of issue of the notification.
