Odisha BJD Government Welcome the supreme court Judgment with open Arms,Tells now Onus is on Centre Government to Enact Law on ‘Mob Lynching’

Condemning the rising incidents of lynching cases in India, the Supreme Court instructed Parliament to come up with a new law which would deal with offences of mob-lynching. A bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra condemned case of mob-lynching and called the incidents ‘Horrendous act of Mobocracy’

Talking to Fact Now Odisha Law Minister Pratap Jena said our stand on this regard is very Clear, Anything in the interest of the people of state and the country, we will support it. Till now we have not got the details of the order of the Honorable judgment of Supreme Court, once we get the report of Judgment, we will take decision.

The Bench also put the onus on state governments, saying the states cannot become deaf against growing rumblings,” Plurality of the state must be safeguarded

I absolutely agree with Supreme Court Judgement, personally I believe it’s has been a long Due, In Last four years many such cases happened in the country, lack of Law Enforcement, and Law regarding that to enforce was missing. So everybody has his own interpretation regarding that, Now supreme court has made it very clear, it directs Centre Government to make a Law and simultaneously also Direct State Government to enact it,Now the onus is on Centre Government to enact the Law. This is a Welcome Judgment by Supreme Court, we appreciate it said,” Pratap Keshari Deb Senior BJD Leader and Rajya Sabha MP
