Bhubaneswar:Bringing much needed relieve to residents of Bhubaneswar, After a day-long operation, the Forest officials successfully captured the leopard near the cargo gate of the Biju Patnaik International Airport here in Odisha in the wee hours on Wednesday.
The big cat was trapped in a cage set up by the forest officials by using a hen as live bait to lure it.
The leopard has now safely been shifted to Nandankanan Zoological Park here, informed a Forest official.
The Leopard had strayed into Palaspali area in the city on Sunday night and was spotted again in the wee hours of Tuesday by a CISF personnel deployed at the ATS Tower.
