Balasore: A pregnant woman here was carried by her family and villagers in a bed for 1.5 kilometers on Sunday. In photos, that were shared by villagers, some men and women are seen carrying the woman through what appears to be a broken road.
The family members of the woman called 102 ambulance service but the vehicle could not reach her.
The incident has created ripples, with many taking shots at the government due to nonavailability of roads.
The condition got much worse because of the monsoon. The road connectivity to the village was badly affected because of muddy and narrow road.
The lady was however immediately rushed to Balasore district Medical hospital after being shifted to ambulance.
