The Odisha government, on Wednesday, approved 11 industrial projects with a combined investment worth Rs 1,332.80 crore, marking a significant push for industrial diversification in the state, officials said.
The approvals were granted during a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), presided over by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja.
These projects span a wide array of sectors, including food and seafood processing, textiles, chemicals, logistics, IT, tourism, and the emerging green energy fields of green hydrogen and green ammonia, they said.

The industrial expansion is set to be distributed across seven districts, including Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, and Mayurbhanj, they added.
Key projects among the approved include, a 20,000-mt green ammonia unit in Ganjam district at an investment of Rs 250 crore, an agrochemical unit in Jagatsinghpur at an investment of Rs 220 crore, officials said.
A shrimp processing unit has been proposed in Khurda at an investment of Rs 200 crore, a copper foil manufacturing unit in Dhenkanal at Rs 150 crore, and a freight terminal in Angul at Rs 159.75 crore, they said.
