Jindal Steel & Power conferred on Two Prestigious Honors at the 7th ICC Social Impact Awards 2025

Bhubaneswar- Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) wins two prestigious awards at  prestigious Social Impact Awards 2025  for its Jindal Asha programme and the Special Jury Award for its Kishori Express programme

The event was  organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Kolkata. The awards were presented by Asansol South MLA Agnimitra Pal. Magsaysay Award winner  Ansu Gupta; and former Global President of Rotary International Shekhar Mehta were present at the event. JSP won the Winner’s Trophy in the Education category for its flagship programme Jindal Asha and the Special Jury Award in the Health category for its Kishori Express programme. While Jindal Asha helps Divyang children to integrate into their education and social mainstream, the Kishori Express programme plays a vital role in improving the health of adolescent girls by addressing anaemia and other health issues.

Inspired by the vision of JSP Chairman and third-term  Lok Sabha MP from Kurukhetra , Naveen Jindal for a healthy society, and under the leadership of Jindal Foundation Chairperson Mrs. Shalu Jindal, JSP’s sustainable community development programmes empower underprivileged communities through education, healthcare and skill development.

Talking on the achievements,  Shalu Jindal, Chairperson, Jindal Foundation said, “We thank ICC for these two honours at the 7th ICC Social Impact Awards. This award is a testament to our commitment to making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged. We will continue to drive positive change through our social initiatives, focusing on empowerment of the vulnerable and marginalized, quality education and universal healthcare to create a brighter and more inclusive future for all.”

Over the past year, the Jindal Foundation has reached out to over 14 million people across India through health, education, livelihood and community development programmes. These initiatives have led to significant improvements in livelihoods in the region, including reducing poverty, hunger, unemployment and raising awareness for social development.
