Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati is set to unfurl the National Flag and receive the ceremonial salute at the state-level Republic Day celebrations in Bhubaneswar, while Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lead the celebrations in Cuttack, according to an official notification.

A communication sent from the Home Department to various authorities detailed that Deputy Chief Ministers, Cabinet Ministers, and other high-ranking officials will preside over flag-hoisting ceremonies in different districts across the state.

CM Maji will be in Cuttack, while DyCM KV Singh Deo has been assigned Koraput district and DyCM Pravati Parida to hoist the tricolour at Khurda. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari will lead the ceremony in Puri.

The government will be represented by Ministers Rabi Narayan Naik in Bargarh, Nityananda Gond in Rayagada, and Krushna Chandra Patra in Keonjhar, respectively.

Further assignments include Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling taking the salute at the Kandhamal district celebration, Commerce & Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena attending the Malkangiri event, and Housing & Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra presiding in Bhadrak.

Ministers of State (Independent Charge) will also serve as chief guests at various functions: Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia in Kalahandi, Suryabanshi Suraj in Nayagarh, Pradeep Bal Samanta in Sambalpur, Gokulananda Mallik in Balasore, and Sampad Chandra Swain in Boudh.

Apart from ministers, Revenue Divisional Commissioners (RDCs) and district Collectors will be in-charge of flag hoisting in the districts of Kendrapada, Berhampur in Ganjam district, Rourkela in Sundergarh district, Angul, Bolangir, Deogarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Subarnapur and Sundargarh.

The notification further stated that in the event of any designated dignitary being unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances, the respective District Collector will perform the ceremonial flag unfurling and take the salute.
