The Sixth State Finance Commission presented its final report to Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
According to official sources, the meeting served as a platform to discuss the various strategic recommendations outlined within the document.
The Commission’s delegation, headed by Chairman Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, met with the Governor at Lok Bhavan to formally hand over the comprehensive report.

The Odisha Governor, in a post on X, said, “Constituted on January 22, 2025, the Commission conducted extensive activities to gather data and collect suggestions from public representatives, officials and experts.”
This final submission follows an interim report delivered on August 18, 2025. Throughout its tenure, the Commission conducted high-level meetings with key departments and invited formal memorandums from districts, public representatives, and the general public across the state.
The governor congratulated the commission for the timely submission of the final report and inclusion of innovative suggestions for the state’s financial growth, an official said.
