Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is set to arrive in Bhubaneswar on Thursday for a packed, official one-day tour of the state capital.
The day’s agenda features a line-up of key engagements dedicated to fostering a sustainable blue economy and celebrating milestones in higher education.
Immediately following his arrival, the vice president will proceed directly to the campus of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). There, he will participate in a prestigious national launch programme dedicated to around issuing Letters of Authorisation (LoAs) aimed at promoting the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the High Seas.
In what promises to be a massive stride for Odisha’s maritime and coastal development, Radhakrishnan will also unveil the ‘Odisha Deep Sea Fishing Mission Document’ – a strategic blueprint designed to upgrade local fishing operations while strictly protecting marine biodiversity.
Later in the afternoon, the focus will shift to academic excellence as the vice president attends the 15th graduation ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Khordha, Bhubaneswar.
