The woman has been\nidentified as Brundabati Chan,In the Video she can be seen kicking her Grandson\nMercilessly, Though the incident happened on Friday, it came to light after the\nvideo went viral today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minor boy was staying\nwith his grandparents as his father and mother are working as labourers in\nMumbai<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The video purportedly shot\nby a neighbor <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neighbours of the woman\nalleged that she has been assaulting her grandson for months as both his father\nand mother are out<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On receiving information, a\nteam of police along with Child Line officials reached the spot and rescued the\nboy today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prashant Kumar Rout(District Child welfare member)- We received a call from Balasore Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Chairperson Bhagirathi Barik at around 1.30 PM today.
