Balasore – In a road accident here last night two persons were killed and as six critically injured when an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a van near Rupsa in Balasore district.
The mishap took place on National Highway No. 60 late last night when the victims were returning after attending a marriage function.
The injured were first taken to the Balasore DHH and then shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack where their condition was stated to be serious.
The deceased have been identified as Baja Mohan Senapati(52) and Kamala Kanta swain(40) of Taharpur village under Rupsa police station area.
Swain was driving the auto rickshaw.
