Educationists Ajay Bahadur Singh felicitated in Canada for ‘Zindagi Foundation’ feat

Vancouver: Ajay Bahadur Singh felicitated for  Outstanding contribution in field of Education to under privilege  and bringing social transformation  through his pet project ‘Zindagi Foundation’  at Maple  Ridge, Vancouver in Canada

The award focuses on recognizing and celebrating people and organisations, who through their ideas and actions, have brought about positive change in our society.

Notably Singh started his ‘Zindagi’ foundation Modelled along the lines of Super 30, a record-setting program run by the acclaimed mathematician Anand Kumar, ‘Zindagi’ is specifically set for students that are highly talented but have financial limitation to undertake the highly-expensive tuition classes and go for Medical Entrance Test

The Zindagi programme launched in the year 2016 in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar has at present 19 meritorious students, both girls and boys, from economically backward families.

Under the project, the talented students from poor financial backgrounds, selected through a statewide screening test, are provided free food, accommodation and coaching to help them become doctors.

Fourteen students of its students cracked NEET in 2018 – 12 of whom got admission in government medical colleges of Odisha. They were even hosted by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in July last year to commemorate their achievements.

Even Bollywood Heartthrob Hrithik Roshan has commended Singh for his Noble works
