Jatni Jan 1 Odisha’s Jatni based Miniature artist L Eswar Rao carves unique new year message on 8 inch long Pencil lead to ‘wish Happy New Year’
Rao who hails from Jatni, in Khurda District claimed it took two days to carve the message.
Earlier during Christmas, by using chalk, glass, and glitter paper, Rao placed a cross with Jesus Christ on it, surrounded by two Christmas trees, with a message Merry Christmas in it, in a 750 ml glass bottle.
Rao has been practising this art work since last 25 years, He creates miniature art on pencil nib and soap and presents them in a bottle, earlier he has created a mesmerising sculpture of a woman and World cup on Pencil nib to mark ‘Women’s Day and during Hockey World cup.
Rao’s journey as a miniature artist began in 1999, after he gifted the Taj Mahal carved out of a chalk to his teacher.
