Nuapada: In a shocking incident, a youth committed suicide by jumping before rear tyre of running truck in Nuapada town here last night.
The deceased has been identified as Raju Sabar, a resident of Mahuabhatta village of Nuapada District
The CCTV camera installed in front of Nuapada Police Station has captured the whole incident in which Sabar seen crossing the road and waited for the truck. It was when the truck passed him he jumped under the vehicle and got crushed under the rear tyres.
Police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy immediately to lodge a case of unnatural death.
While it is not clear why the victim took the extreme step, the case is currently under investigation, sources say he was mentally ill
