Balasore:In a Heart Wrenching incident, a video showing a woman horrifically bashing her 7-year-old grandson in Odisha’s Balasore district is doing the rounds on social media.
The woman has been identified as Brundabati Chan,In the Video she can be seen kicking her Grandson Mercilessly, Though the incident happened on Friday, it came to light after the video went viral today.
The minor boy was staying with his grandparents as his father and mother are working as labourers in Mumbai

Neighbours of the woman alleged that she has been assaulting her grandson for months as both his father and mother are out
On receiving information, a team of police along with Child Line officials reached the spot and rescued the boy today.
Prashant Kumar Rout(District Child welfare member)- We received a call from Balasore Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Chairperson Bhagirathi Barik at around 1.30 PM today. He informed us about the incident and directed to rescue the minor.Investigation is on into the incident” said Prashant Kumar Rout,District Child welfare member
