Mayurbhanj: Man Beheads Aunt, suspecting of practicing witchcraft, walks to Police Station with Severed Head
In a terrible incident a youth severed his aunt’s head on the suspicion of practising witchcraft and reached the police station with the severed head.
The horrific incident is of Nuasahi village of Khunta Police limits of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha
The accused has been identified as Budhiram Singh(28). While the deceased has been identified as Demphar Singh of nuasahi
Reportedly , Budhiram’s four-year-old daughter had died a week ago following an illness due to mysterious disease. Budhiram suspected Demphar singh has done some sort of sorcery which led to his daughter’s death. To take revenge, Budhiram beheaded Demphar with a sharp weapon killing her on spot.
He later reached police station and surrendered before the police with the severed head and the murder weapon
Police arrested him when he was heading towards the police station holding the head.
Mayurbhanj Police SP Smit P Parmar confirmed to The Fact Now about the incident and said the accused has been arrested and investigation is on.
